About Bimala
Namaste, I am Bimala. I came to Sydney from Pokhara in 2018 and since that time I have worked as a nanny for two families, both of them in this area.
My first family was in Strathfield. One boy. I started with him when he was eighteen months old and I finished when he was four and went to preschool full time.
My second family has twin boys. I started with them when they were two months old. Two babies, two bottles, two nappies, all at the same time. In the first months I will be honest with you, some days I was crying in the bathroom. After that I could do everything with one hand. The boys are five now and they started school this year and I am still with them three afternoons. So when I say twins do not frighten me, I am not saying it just to be nice on the internet.
I am very organised with routine. I write down what your child eats and what time they sleep, and I send you a message at bedtime so you are not sitting there wondering. If something is not right, I tell you the same day. Not next week.
My certificates. First Aid with CPR, updated March this year. Working With Children Check, current, not expired. Certificate III in Early Childhood, finished 2022. I am doing my Diploma part time on Fridays.
I speak Nepali and Hindi with children if the family wants this, or only English, no problem for me.
I do not drive. I take the train and the bus. In seven years I have been late two times and both times I called before.
