Babysitting work near you
List a free profile and families nearby message you directly. There is no commission and no membership, so you keep 100% of what you earn.
How it works
1. Put up a profile
Set your rate, your availability, and what you're comfortable with. Families browsing nearby see it, closest first.
2. Families message you here
An account is an email address and a six-digit code. Parents contact you through the site, so your phone number stays yours to give out.
3. Agree the details directly
Rate, hours, and payment are between you and the family. They pay you directly, and we never take a cut.
You keep 100% of what you earn
Families pay you directly, by whatever method you agree with them. No commission, no membership, no listing fee. For sitters that is permanent, not a launch offer.
Our pricing, in fullWhat sitters charge
Not enough sitters have published a rate yet for a local range to mean anything. Across Sydney, casual babysitting generally runs between $25 and $40 an hour, depending on experience, the number of children, and what the job involves.
You set the rate
Your rate goes on your profile and parents filter by it. A profile without one is the easy one to skip, so put a number on yours even if you adjust it later.
What moves a babysitting rateThe badge, if you want it
Verification is optional and free. You confirm a government photo ID with a matching selfie, and we check your WWCC with the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian ourselves. The badge shows the month we checked, and it takes about five minutes of your time.
Exactly what we checkWhat families see
Your profile is public, because that is how families find you. It shows less than you might expect.
On your profile
- Your first name and last initial
- Your suburb, not your address
- Your rate, availability, and experience
- Your photo
Never on it
- Your surname
- Your phone number or email
- Your street or exact location
- Your WWC number or date of birth
You decide what to share once you have talked to someone, and you can block anyone. Verification details are encrypted and never shown publicly, and we never store copies of ID documents. The privacy policy spells all of this out.
Where families are looking
Sitters list from anywhere in Australia, and families see whoever is nearest them. These are the areas we started with, and where most browsing families are.
When a family within 30km of you posts an ad, you get an email about it. You don’t have to watch a feed, and you won’t hear about work across the other side of the city.
