About Fadia
Since 2006 I have run a registered family day care service from my own home in Ashfield. Four children a day, from six months to five years, the same routine every day, and it works because it is the same every day.
Before that I was in a long day care centre in Burwood, in the nursery and then the toddler room.
Babysitting in your home is something I take on Friday and Saturday evenings, once my own service has closed for the week. I do not take weekday bookings. My own families come first and I am with children from 7.30 in the morning.
I am comfortable with babies and with several children at once, because that is most of what I do. Bath, dinner, bed, and I will happily cook for your children if you leave me something to work with. I believe children settle best when the adults around them are calm and the routine does not keep changing, and that is what I offer.
Arabic or English, whichever your children are used to. A lot of the families I care for speak Arabic at home and want the children to hold on to it.
Registered and insured through my service. WWCC and first aid current, both renewed last year. Written references from families going back more than ten years. Some of the babies I minded are in high school now and their mothers still ring me at Eid.

Registered nurse, calm in a house full of noise
I am a registered nurse at Concord and a mother of one. I babysit on my days off because I enjoy it, not because I need the hours. A high temperature, a rash that appeared at 5pm, a toddler who will not stop coughing, none of that will panic me. I am also perfectly happy with the ordinary evening: dinner, bath, story, lights out. Thank you for reading.

Spanish speaking, music and a lot of dancing
Hola, I am Marisol, from Medellin, four years now in Ashfield. I worked in a nursery in Colombia and I studied music, so with me there is always singing. We go to the park, we paint, we make arepas together. My English is good but not perfect, please be patient with me. I would love to speak Spanish with your children if you are teaching them at home.
