About Steph
Netball development officer for the local association. I run the junior clinics, coach two rep squads and do the school outreach program, so I'm in front of 8 to 14 year olds most days of the week.
Played since I was seven, umpired since 2011, coaching since 2016. Before this job I did four years in an after school care service at Marrickville, forty kids an afternoon, so afternoon tea, homework and getting everyone out the door in one piece is familiar territory.
School age is where I'm strongest. I can do the younger ones but I won't pretend they're my thing.
I drive and I'm fine doing pickups and drop-offs to training. My car already smells like a sports bag so nothing your kids do will make it worse.
Saturdays are competition days March through September and there's no moving that. Weeknights are the reliable ones and Sundays usually work outside of finals.

I mix front of house at a venue in Marrickville, four or five nights a week, so my days are my own. I've sat for the same two families in Sydenham for about three years, kids are 2, 5 and 7 between them, and I'm happy to pass on their numbers.
