A short history so you know what you are getting:
2011 to 2014, family in Balmain, two girls aged 4 and 6 when I started, after school and holidays.
2014 to 2018, family in Hunters Hill, a newborn boy through to preschool, four days a week.
2018 to 2021, family in Mosman, three children aged 2, 5 and 9, full time.
2021 to 2025, family in Drummoyne, twin boys from six weeks old until they started school this year.
That last one is why I am available. The twins are at school now, the family no longer needs a full time nanny, and I am taking babysitting and short placements while I look for the right long term role.

How I work. I follow your routine instead of inventing my own, and I would rather you over-explain it than leave me guessing. I write a short handover note after every booking, four or five lines, so you know what was eaten, what was slept and whether anything out of the ordinary happened. I am not on my phone while your children are awake.
I am well set up for a household with more than one child, twins included, and I am comfortable anywhere from newborn to about twelve. If your family has cleaners I will not go near their work, I will just leave the kitchen and the play areas the way I found them.
Written references from three of the four families above, and two of them are happy to take a phone call.
$50 per hour, three hour minimum. Weeknights from 6.30, weekends more flexible.

Vet nurse, free on my rostered days off
I'm a vet nurse at a small animal clinic in Leichhardt and I sit on my days off. Six years of holding wriggling animals still has made me unreasonably good at getting medicine into someone who does not want it, which I gather is half the job with a sick five year old. School crossing supervisor, evenings and weekends
I do the school crossing on Darling St mornings and afternoons, and I walk dogs in between. Twenty odd years of knowing every kid in the street by name. Evenings and weekends are free. First aid through the council, full licence, and I'm very happy in a house with dogs.
