I'm Connie. Grew up in Enfield, still here, same street practically. My two went to the local primary and now they're at uni driving me mad in a completely different way.
I've been minding kids around this neighbourhood for twenty odd years. It started because I was the one home in the afternoons, and then it just never stopped. Mostly school pick ups, the odd Saturday night so parents can go out and actually finish a conversation, and school holidays when everyone's childcare falls over at the same time.
Things you should probably know about me. I can't sit still, so if they're asleep I'll fold your washing, and I'm not fishing for a tip, it's just what I do. I'm firm about bedtime and soft about nearly everything else. I'll take them to the park, to training, to the shops, wherever they need to be, I've got a big car and I've been doing kid drop offs since before Google Maps. Dogs love me and I love them right back, so a mad staffy in the house is not a problem.
Teenagers I'm fine with too. Mine are 19 and 21, so there's nothing a fourteen year old can say that's going to shock me.
WWCC done, First Aid through the netball club and renewed last year. Full licence, boosters already in the boot.
My Greek is rusty but the little ones love it when I count to ten in it, so that's my one party trick.
