About Elif
Hello! My name is Elif and I am 20 years old. I am currently studying my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care at TAFE Ultimo, and I also work three days a week in the toddler room at a long day care centre here in Petersham.
I believe every child deserves a safe and happy environment where they can learn and grow at their own pace. Children need patience and consistency, and they need an adult who is actually present with them and not sitting on their phone. That is the kind of care I try to give to every family.

The little ones are really my thing. Nappies, bottles, solids, and settling a baby who has decided that today sleep is not happening. At the centre I am usually the one they put in the room at rest time, because I do not rush it.
I am also very happy to sit with a child who is unwell. I am the youngest of five so I have had every bug there is and nothing much bothers me.
I am available weeknights from 5.30pm once I finish at the centre, and Saturday mornings. Sundays are family day at our house so I keep those free. I do not drive yet but Petersham, Lewisham, Stanmore and Marrickville are all close for me.
