I've been nannying casually for five years, since I was 18, mostly weekends and school holidays for three families around Glebe and Balmain. I'm now doing honours in psychology, which means my weeks are flexible but my thesis is not, so I book in advance rather than same day.
Confident with babies through to early primary. Bottles, solids, resettling, the whole 4pm to 7pm gauntlet.
I've done a few overnights when parents were away and I'm happy to do those again for families I've met a couple of times first. WWCC, first aid, CPR. References from two of the three families.

Ex cabin crew, back at uni, free most afternoons
Nine years as cabin crew, mostly long haul, and I've seen every tantrum there is at 38,000 feet. Nothing that happens in a lounge room is going to rattle me. I left last year and I'm studying speech pathology at Sydney Uni now, so I'm around Glebe most afternoons and evenings. First aid and CPR are current, the airline made us re-sit them yearly and I've kept it up.

I'll get on the floor and build the thing with them
Design student at UTS, 22. I've been babysitting since high school, mostly for family friends around Glebe and Annandale. I'm the one who will actually sit on the floor and build the thing rather than watch from the couch. Portuguese speaker (Mum's Brazilian) if that's handy for you. Weeknights and Sunday afternoons are best for me.
