Career nanny, 12 years with Inner West families
About Renee
I work as a professional nanny and take babysitting on my free evenings and weekends. Twelve years in, all of it with Inner West families.
My longest placement ran six years with a family in Dulwich Hill, from newborn twins through to school age, so multiples, fussy eaters and big feelings are all familiar territory. Before that I spent three years with a family in Petersham (two boys, now towering over me when I run into them at the shops) and my current daytime family is in Summer Hill, which is why my evenings start at 6:30.
What you can expect from me: I arrive ten minutes early, I follow your routine rather than inventing my own, dinner gets eaten at a table, and you'll come home to a tidier house than you left. I keep things structured but fun, and kids always know where they stand with me. Happy to do school and activity runs, simple dinners, bath and bedtime.
Current WWCC
First aid including CPR
Full licence, anchor points fitted in my car
References from all three long-term families, written and phone
I book out two to three weeks ahead for weekends, so for a regular arrangement it is worth getting in touch early.

Special education teacher, additional needs welcome
Fourteen years teaching. The first six were mainstream classrooms, the last eight in a support unit attached to a primary school, which is the job I should have been doing the whole time. Autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, selective mutism, sensory processing, children who use AAC to talk and children who are not talking yet. I have worked with all of it, and a hard afternoon is not going t

Final year nursing student, paediatric placement
Final year of a Bachelor of Nursing, currently on paediatric placement at a children's hospital. Five years of babysitting behind that, including two years as the regular for a family in Petersham. Sick days are the ones people struggle to cover and they are the ones I am most useful for. I am comfortable with medications, temperatures, and knowing when something is worth a doctor and when it is w

School pickups and afternoons, 19 years in a school office
Hi lovely families, I'm Deb. I spent nineteen years in the front office at a primary school not far from here, so I know the gates, I know which one the kindy kids come out of, and I know exactly how loud a Friday afternoon is. I've finished up now and my days are my own. The afternoon shift is what I'm good at. Pickup, afternoon tea, readers and homework at the table, then dinner started before y
