Hi everyone,
We’re a family of four in Ashfield looking for a warm, reliable and energetic person to help us with after-school care two afternoons a week – Mondays and Thursdays.
We have two children, a 7-year-old boy in Year 1 and a 9-year-old girl in Year 3.
The role would involve school pick-ups, getting the kids settled at home, helping with homework, preparing simple snacks/dinner and generally helping with the after-school juggle.
We’re looking for someone who is kind, calm, fun and responsible, but also proactive and happy to pitch in where needed. Someone who enjoys spending time with kids, can take a bit of initiative and become a trusted extra pair of hands for our family would be perfect.
Ideally, we’d love to find someone interested in staying with us longer term.
Days: Monday & Thursday afternoons 3-6
Location: Ashfield
Start: As soon as mutually suitable

Mon–Fri evenings, Sat and Sun all day
Looking for casual help as I am a single mum and need assistance with daycare pick ups some evenings until I get home from work. Also want someone who can do casual babysitting on weekends when required. My daughter is 3 and an absolute delight. When you’re looking after her she loves reading books, playing games and doing puzzles, blowing bubbles outside, drawing and doing craft.

Mon–Wed mornings and afternoons
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and experienced nanny for our two boys (1 and 3) from January 2027. The eldest (3yo) will be at daycare which is at the bottom of the street for two of the three days.
You would need to be available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7.30am until 5.30pm from January 2027.
Before then, if you are available for half a days' work on Monday or Tuesday that would be ideal so the kids can get used to you and I can start taking some small bits of work here and there.
