I have a year's experience minding our neighbour's children at nighttime, which I found stimulating.

I'm very happy to care for 4-12-year olds, but I'm not restricted to this age group.

Evening work is fine because I enjoy the routines of preparing and supervising meals, cleaning up, and storytelling and other activities.

Because by nature I'm a calm and collected person, I'm more than capable of handling bedtime resistance, in whatever forms this takes.

I'm also good at thinking on my feet and solving problems and, being physically active, I'm well able to deal with any rough and tumble.

I'm intrigued by early childhood development and hope, eventually, to have a career in this area.
