Ayaka M.

Hi! I’m Ayaka, a warm, creative and experienced nanny who genuinely loves spending time with children. I have over 10 years of experience working with children in Japan, Canada and Australia, from babies and toddlers to school-aged children.

I have a background in education and art, so I especially enjoy creative activities such as drawing, painting, crafts and making things together. I also love reading, outdoor play and simply following children’s interests and turning everyday moments into fun learning experiences.

One of my strengths is caring for multiple children at the same time. I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and finding ways to make each child feel seen, comfortable and included.

I’m calm, patient and responsible, but I also like to be playful and actively involved rather than simply watching from the side. I’m happy to support families with meals, bath time, bedtime routines and keeping the children’s areas tidy.

I have an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification in Australia, an Early Childhood Educator qualification from Canada, a Master’s degree in Education from Japan, and childcare and teaching qualifications from Japan. I also hold a current WWCC and First Aid & CPR certification.
