Looking for some childcare help?

Any families in the Manningham/surrounding suburbs looking for childcare help?

Here is some information about me:

-Looking to pursue nannying/babysitting full time, after realising during my first Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care placement, a centre environment was not for me

-Employee WWCC, Police Check, CPR, ABN, Gecko/DET Child Protection training for Early Childhood, Asthma certificate and Anaphylaxis plus plan to add SunSmart and Swimming-do the 5 alive

Previous Experience:

Childcare placement in a 4-5 year old kinder room: Was involved in active supervision of areas in the room, simple behaviour management, assisted with meal-times (morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea), cleaning/disinfecting areas and interacting with the children to get to know their interests/engage with play on their level. I am a huge advocate for play being the best way children learn.

TAFE Playgroup (7 month-2 year old children): Assisted in facilitating activities in line with the EYLF and VEYLDF, engaged with the children and parents, detected interests and gave parents advice in how they could best nurture their child's interests at home and other areas related to child development.

Children's Entertainer: Portrayed a variety of characters depending on the party theme from Disney princesses to fairies, engaged with the children and parents to ensure that everyone was having a good time and things ran smoothly, face painted the children as they were coming into the party, assisted with the running of the main party program and served party food and cakes to the children.

My other babysitting experience: Through the childcare app Kiddo, I have experience babysitting primary-school aged children between 6 and 9 years old, including one with ADHD and Anxiety. I was involved in organising dinner that the parents left/preparing food for the children, planned activities to keep the children occupied such as hide and seek, kicking a soccer ball in the backyard and playdoh. Other activities I have planned in line with the children's interests include colouring in and playing dinosaurs. I have also redirected behaviours when necessary to ensure that the children in my care are safe at all times and have taken a set of children on an outing to the park.
