Mother's Helper Wanted | Gladesville | $30–$35/hr

We're a friendly neurodivergent family in Gladesville looking for a warm, reliable and energetic mother's helper to spend a few hours a week with our two girls, aged 1 and 6.

Our youngest is a very busy, curious and adventurous toddler who loves exploring, climbing and getting into absolutely everything! We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with little ones, playing, exploring and keeping them safe.

Our six-year-old loves imaginative play, crafts and creative activities, so there may also be opportunities to spend time with both girls.

I'll generally be home during these hours, so we're looking for an extra pair of hands to entertain and supervise the girls while I get things done, spend one-on-one time with either child, or simply have a little breathing room.

Hours: Ideally 2–3 mornings per week, approximately 3 hours per session. We're flexible on days and times for the right person.

Rate: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience.

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience with babies and active toddlers.
Is playful, patient, energetic and engaging.
Has a current Working With Children Check.
Is comfortable working alongside a parent at home, and doing some light household tasks on occasion.
Is reliable and interested in an ongoing arrangement.

Experience with neurodivergent children would be a bonus.

We're hoping to find someone who can become a familiar, trusted part of our family's week, ideally continuing into 2027.
